rock n roll all stars cancel
Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars, the new rock collective featuring an 11-man cast from bands like Kiss and Guns N’ Roses to Def Leppard and Deep Purple, have officially cancelled all but one of their upcoming tour dates.
The tour, originally set to trek through both South and Central America has been cut quite short. The band played in Paraguay and Argentina before having to cancel the remaining dates. While no concrete reason was given, the announcement points towards issues with the promoters. The news follows a cancellation in Sao Luis, Brazil at the Metal Open Air Festival on April 21 due to security issues.

The Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars issued the following statement regarding the latest cancellations:

““Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars regret to inform our fans that the shows we had scheduled in Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and Venezuela have been cancelled. An incredible effort was made to work with local promoters to bring our show to the fans but they made it impossible for us to do so. We are saddened that we will not be coming to Central America and will do everything possible to ensure that our fans receive refunds for all tickets purchased. We are in South America and just had amazing shows in Paraguay and Argentina where thousands of fans came to hear the hits of Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, Def Leppard and more. The show in Lima, Peru is still on sale and the band is still playing this show. Thank you for your support and we hope to see each and every one of you soon.”
The traveling rock show, dreamed up by former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, planned to perform a stacked set list featuring hits from all the bands in the group, leading to an endless amount of possibilities and collaborations.

While the future of the mega-group is up in the air, many fans are hoping they’ll bring the show to the States for a run sometime in the near future.
